Prince William Opens Up About Fitness Routine and Daily Diet During Eton College Visit

The father-of-three recently met with Lieutenant Commander Hugo Mitchell-Heggs and his team at Eton College’s Rowing Centre, where he engaged the rowers in conversation about managing the mental pressures of their demanding roles.

William is known to maintain an active lifestyle, with running being a particular passion. In 2023, he shared with interviewers his enjoyment of a morning jog through New York’s Central Park during his visit for the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, according to HELLO magazine.

While details of his current fitness regimen remain largely private, a 2019 encounter offers a glimpse into his workout habits. British rapper Stormzy revealed on the Jonathan Ross Show an unexpected run-in with the Prince at the gym.

“Yeah, I was just walking up the stairs and someone was like, ‘Stormzy!'” the artist recalled. “And I was like, ‘Whoa. What’s going on Prince?’ I swear down, I just bumped into him.”

The gym was reported to be Chelsea Harbour Club, an upscale fitness facility featuring swimming pools, tennis courts, a spa, and customized exercise programs. Membership reportedly requires a joining fee of approximately £1,880.

Regarding his eating habits, William provided insight during a 2022 visit to Newquay Orchard in Cornwall. He described starting his mornings with two eggs and wholemeal toast with butter, accompanied by apple juice and tea with milk and sugar.

Acknowledging he was “trying to cut down on sugar,” the Prince admitted to having eaten a “rubbish” sandwich for lunch that particular day, while typically enjoying fish and mushrooms for dinner. He noted that he avoids coffee, instead consuming “two or three cups of tea” daily, along with snacks including bananas, chocolate biscuits, and brownies.

William also mentioned occasionally enjoying a glass of red wine each day.
