Vijay Krishna Acharya is set to write and direct the highly anticipated Dhoom 4, marking his return to the blockbuster franchise that he helped shape from the beginning.

Acharya, popularly known as Victor, penned the scripts for the franchise’s first two installments, which were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. He then expanded his role by both writing and directing Dhoom 3 in 2013, the franchise’s third chapter.

The recent confirmation of Dhoom 4 has generated massive excitement among Hindi cinema enthusiasts. The heist franchise commands a devoted following in Bollywood, and the revelation that Ranbir Kapoor will portray the film’s antagonist has added an extra layer of intrigue to the project.

According to an industry source speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, “Victor has crafted the screenplay for Dhoom 4 and will direct it as well. Given his involvement in writing all three previous Dhoom films and his directorial success with the third installment, this was the logical choice. Dhoom 3 became Bollywood’s highest-grossing film at the time of its release.”

The pairing of Kapoor with Acharya promises an exciting new dimension to the beloved franchise.
