Rising star Vedang Raina recently sat down to discuss his latest projects, from shooting campaigns with co-star Khushi Kapoor to his upcoming collaboration with acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali. The young actor also shared his thoughts on friend Aryan Khan’s series debut.

On His Recent Arrow Campaign with Khushi Kapoor
When asked about his recent shoot with Khushi Kapoor for clothing brand Arrow, Raina clarified that while it wasn’t his first major campaign, it held special significance. “I’ve done a few campaigns before, but what makes this one special is that it’s addressing something very relatable to our generation, and it’s something I personally connect with,” he explained. “I’m glad to be part of a brand that’s sparking this conversation.”
Working with Khushi Kapoor proved to be a seamless experience for the actor. “It’s always a good experience shooting with her. We’ve done quite a few campaigns together, and of course, we spent a lot of time on the series The Archies. So, there’s a natural comfort when we work together,” Raina shared.
The Difference Between Ad Shoots and Feature Films
Raina highlighted the stark contrast between commercial shoots and film projects. “An ad is way quicker—it usually takes a day or two at most. Things move really fast, so you have to conserve your energy and keep up with the pace,” he noted. However, he was candid about the creative limitations: “But, of course, it’s not as creatively satisfying as playing a character in a film.”
When it comes to brand endorsements, the actor maintains strict principles. “I wouldn’t endorse a product that I wouldn’t use myself. I’ve been fortunate that the brands approaching me are ones I genuinely believe in. These are products I would use myself or even recommend to my family.”
Upcoming Project with Imtiaz Ali
Raina is currently working on what promises to be an exciting collaboration with renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. “The shoot has already begun. I’ll soon be traveling to Punjab for my major schedule, and I’m really excited about that,” he revealed, though he kept details about the project under wraps.
Praising Friend Aryan Khan’s Series Debut
The actor had nothing but praise for his friend Aryan Khan’s series “The Bads of Bollywood.” His enthusiasm was evident as he described the show: “I think the show is a really enjoyable watch. I haven’t laughed like this in a while! I loved the performances—it’s the perfect masala entertainer. I’ve been recommending it to everyone.”
With multiple projects in the pipeline and a clear vision for his career choices, Vedang Raina appears to be making thoughtful decisions as he navigates his way through the entertainment industry.
