The cast of Cocktail 2—featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna—will begin filming in Delhi within days, with production taking extensive measures to combat the capital’s deteriorating air quality.

Contrary to earlier speculation about an extended filming period, HT City has learned exclusively that the Delhi portion of the shoot will span just over a week rather than a full month. The actors recently completed their European shooting schedule and are now preparing for critical scenes to be filmed across Delhi and Gurgaon.

Filming Schedule and Locations

According to sources close to the production, “The shoot will run from November 11 to November 20 in Delhi—not for an entire month as previously reported.”

The predominantly outdoor filming will take place in Chhatarpur and Gurgaon, along with several additional South Delhi locations that have been secured for the production.

Air Quality Precautions

With Delhi’s Air Quality Index exceeding 300, the production team has implemented comprehensive safety protocols to protect cast and crew during outdoor filming.

Measures include installing air purifiers in vanity vans and indoor spaces, mandatory mask-wearing on set, and the strategic deployment of water sprinklers. “Water sprinklers will be used daily before filming begins and, if necessary, between takes to create a safer shooting environment,” the source confirmed.

Director’s Arrival

While the principal cast has yet to reach Delhi, director Homi Adajania appears to have already arrived in the capital. He recently shared an airplane photo on social media with the cryptic caption “Go Figure. #Cocktail2,” teasing fans about the upcoming shoot.
