When the title reveal for Shah Rukh Khan’s King dropped on his 60th birthday, fans were thrilled to see the Bollywood icon sporting silver hair and wielding guns. However, one detail caught the internet’s attention: a blue shirt and tan jacket ensemble that bore a striking resemblance to Brad Pitt’s outfit in the racing drama F1.
Social media quickly lit up with comparisons between the two looks. Clips placing scenes from both films side by side began circulating, with reactions ranging from admiration to criticism. “Manifested SRK to look like Brad Pitt in F1 and the Universe didn’t even hesitate,” one fan posted on X. Another suggested it might be deliberate, calling it “a homage to Brad Pitt’s F1 look.”

Some observers were less charitable, with one commenting that the costume designer must have watched F1 before arriving on set, while another remarked that they “didn’t even try to hide” the similarity.

But Shah Rukh’s supporters came prepared with receipts. They unearthed photos from his 2017 film Jab Harry Met Sejal showing the actor in a nearly identical outfit. “People are trolling SRK for copying Brad Pitt. Seriously bruh?” one defender wrote, emphasizing that Khan had worn the look years before Pitt’s racing film hit screens.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Abhishek Bachchan alongside Shah Rukh. The film marks another collaboration between Khan and Anand, who previously worked together on the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan.
