Saiyaara Star Aneet Padda Pens Emotional Tribute to Her School: “I Hope I Make You Proud”
Amritsar: Riding high on the phenomenal success of Saiyaara, breakout star Aneet Padda has shared a deeply heartfelt message dedicated to her alma mater, Spring Dale Senior School in Amritsar. The school recently posted a touching video celebrating Aneet’s achievements, featuring warm recollections from her teachers, principal, and the school’s director.
The video, filled with nostalgia and admiration, highlighted Aneet’s early promise and the unwavering belief her mentors had in her potential. In response, Aneet wrote a moving note that captured her gratitude and emotional connection to the place where her dreams first took shape.
“I don’t even know how to put this into words,” she began. “Watching this, I just sat there with the biggest smile on my face and tears in my eyes. Dales is where I’ve grown up, where I learnt to dream big, where people believed in me long before I believed in myself.”

Reflecting on her journey from a daydreaming student to a rising star, Aneet added:
“Every time I step onto a set now, there’s a part of me that’s still that little girl in a Spring Dale uniform, sitting in class, imagining this very life. I hope I make you proud—not just with the film, but with who I’m becoming.”
She concluded her note with a promise to return and thank her mentors in person:
“You’ve given me more than an education—you’ve given me a piece of myself I’ll never lose. Thank you for seeing me, cheering for me, and reminding me that no matter how far I go, I’ll always have a home to come back to.”
