Akshay Kumar Pays Tribute to Katrina Kaif While Recreating Iconic ‘Uncha Lamba Kad’ with Disha Patani
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has unveiled a teaser for the reimagined version of the beloved song “Uncha Lamba Kad,” this time featuring Disha Patani in his forthcoming film Welcome to the Jungle.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif became one of Bollywood’s most popular on-screen pairs during the 2000s, appearing together in numerous successful films. Their collaborations gave audiences several unforgettable musical moments, including the catchy “Uncha Lamba Kad” from Anees Bazmee’s 2007 hit Welcome. This Tuesday, fans learned that the upcoming sequel, Welcome to the Jungle, will present a fresh take on this classic track. Sharing a preview of the new version, Akshay made sure to honor his previous co-star Katrina Kaif, who is currently expecting her first baby with husband Vicky Kaushal.
The teaser shows Akshay dancing alongside his Welcome to the Jungle co-star Disha Patani to the energetic rhythm of “Uncha Lamba Kad.” The clip concludes with Akshay expressing, “We miss you, Katrina!” In his accompanying message, he wrote: “From our hearts to yours!!
