Ajay Devgn Teams Up with ‘Su From So’ Director for Horror-Comedy Project.

Bollywood’s horror-comedy genre continues to gain momentum, with Ajay Devgn reportedly signing on for a new project in this space. The versatile actor is set to collaborate with JP Tuminadu, the director behind the acclaimed film “Su From So,” for an upcoming horror-comedy venture.

According to industry sources speaking to Pinkvilla, Devgn was impressed by Tuminadu’s initial pitch. “Ajay is always receptive to hearing fresh concepts from filmmakers across the industry. JP’s proposal really resonated with him,” the source revealed. “He’s requested a complete screenplay, with their next discussion scheduled for next month.”

This marks new territory for Devgn, who hasn’t previously starred in a full-fledged horror-comedy. The project aligns perfectly with the actor’s current interests in exploring different genres.

KVN Productions will back the film, with production targeted to begin in the first half of 2026. The banner, which is also producing Yash’s highly anticipated “Toxic,” sees this as part of their strategic expansion into Hindi cinema.

“KVN is developing two Hindi projects – ‘Haiwaan’ featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, alongside this untitled horror-comedy starring Ajay Devgn,” the source explained. “These films represent the production house’s major entry into Bollywood.”

Devgn recently appeared in “Son of Sardaar 2,” the sequel to his 2012 hit. His upcoming slate includes “De De Pyaar De 2,” featuring R Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, Tabu, and Jimmy Sheirgill, along with “Dhamaal 4” and “Ranger.”
