Senator Faisal Vawda has issued a strong statement on social media, accusing certain politicians, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other groups of consistently attempting to weaken Pakistan’s armed forces for their own gain.
In a post on the social media platform X, Vawda asserted that the Pakistan Army, led by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Asim Munir, had recently thwarted “a major act of terrorism,” the specifics of which would be disclosed to the public shortly. He credited the army with once again saving the nation from a significant threat.
Vawda’s message also carried a stark warning to what he termed “hypocrite politicians.” He advised them to “correct their direction” or face being “crushed.” The senator stated that those obstructing Pakistan’s development would not be tolerated. This warning was aimed at individuals he described as “big ‘Turram Khans’,” a colloquial term for arrogant or self-important people.
