Pakistan Rebuilds 15 Terror Camps in 90 Days Post-Operation Sindoor, Intelligence Warns of New Threats
New Delhi, 6August 2025 –
In the 90 days following India’s Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has reportedly rebuilt over 15 terror camps and launchpads across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), according to fresh intelligence inputs. These camps are being reconstructed with the support of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and other government agencies. The new facilities are designed to be smaller, more mobile, and equipped with advanced technologies, including drones, to evade detection by Indian forces.
Key Locations of Rebuilt Camps
The newly established camps are located in strategic areas such as Kel, Shardi, Dudhniyal, Lipa Valley, Tandapani, Nayyali, and Jankot. These sites are being used by major terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen. The camps are reportedly being used for training, indoctrination, and planning of cross-border operations.
Pakistan’s Role and International Concerns
Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies are allegedly providing substantial support for the reconstruction of these terror infrastructures. There are concerns that international aid may be misused to finance these camps. The development raises alarms about regional stability and the resurgence of terrorism infrastructure
Implications for Regional Security
The rapid reconstruction of these terror camps indicates a persistent commitment by Pakistan to support cross-border terrorism. This development poses significant challenges to India’s security and counter-terrorism efforts. The new camps, being smaller and more technologically advanced, may be harder to detect and neutralize, potentially leading to an escalation in cross-border tensions.
