A prominent Bollywood actor has entered into a rental agreement for his premium sea-facing residence in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area, according to recently surfaced property documents.
The Property Deal
The luxurious 12,000 square foot apartment, situated in the prestigious Mannat Apartments (Vartamaan) on Juhu-Versova Link Road, has been leased for Rs 75,000 per month under a one-year agreement. The lease agreement, dated August 4, 2025, included a security deposit of Rs 1.25 lakh, as revealed by Zapkey property documents.
The property in question represents a significant investment, having been acquired in October 2020 for Rs 97.5 crore. The purchase included three floors: the entire 18th floor and a duplex spanning the 19th and 20th floors of the building.
Recent Real Estate Activity
This latest transaction continues a pattern of notable property dealings by the Roshan family. In May 2025, the actor and his filmmaker father sold three apartments in Andheri for Rs 6.75 crore. The year has also seen other commercial leasing activities, including a 2,727 square foot office space in Goregaon rented for Rs 5.62 lakh monthly, and the renewal of a lease for a 9,209 square foot commercial space in Pune’s Kharadi area for Rs 6.08 lakh per month.
Personal Context
The rental arrangement involves the actor’s partner, singer and actress Saba Azad, who has been in a relationship with the Bollywood star since their public appearance together at filmmaker Karan Johar’s 50th birthday celebration in 2022. Since then, she has become a regular presence at family gatherings and celebrations.
Azad is currently preparing for her upcoming project, “Songs of Paradise,” an Amazon Prime film for which the teaser has recently been released to supportive reception from her partner and fans alike.
The actor, meanwhile, was last seen in “War 2,” which unfortunately did not perform as expected at the box office.
