Pakistan’s Minister of State for Interior, Tallal Chaudhry, has warned that the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is exploiting WhatsApp channels to spread extremist propaganda.
In a post on X, Chaudhry said the terrorist group was distributing bulk messages to promote hate, glorify violence, and push harmful narratives. He urged WhatsApp and the global community to assist Pakistan in tackling this digital threat, stressing the need for cooperation to curb extremist messaging and prevent its dangerous influence from spreading online.
