Imran’s sons meet Trump aide in CaliforniaRichard Grenell tells Imran Khan’s sons to ‘stay strong’

Imran Khan’s sons, Sulaiman (28) and Kasim Khan (26), met senior Trump aide Richard Grenell in California as they launched a US campaign to secure their father’s release. Grenell, who has consistently supported freeing Imran, urged the brothers to “stay strong” during their meeting. They also met Dr Asif Mahmood, a Pakistani American physician and key PTI supporter, who praised their “bravery in fighting for justice”.

Imran Khan, imprisoned since August 2023 in a £190 million corruption case and facing terror-related trials linked to the May 9 protests, remains at Adiala Jail. PTI aims to build international pressure, particularly in Washington. Pakistani ministers downplayed the political impact of the brothers’ campaign, citing their British nationality, which bars them from local political participation.
